Re: Saturday football
Reckon Manchester United will regret not moving for Conte.

Who’d you get now if you sack OGS?

Sir Alf 11:37 Tue Nov 2
Re: Saturday football
Man United defensive organisation and work off the ball is a massive problem and all down to OGS, Carrick and the coaching team. No intensity and work rate from Ronaldo you can understand since he delivers goals etc. but when you then see the ambling Paul Pogba, Fernandes, Greenwood and Rashford all great on the ball but just don't do enough when United are out of possession. Not enough pressing etc. and Moyes mantra "you don't run, you don't play" would make a massive difference. On top of all this they have a Harry Maguire who looks jaded and out of form too.

They should have gone for Conte.

Another great goal for Ronaldo though.

MU really are poor. Got to get rid of that OGS surely.

Should've retired as he is a shadow of what he was.

Just placing this here as not to start a new thread. Heard last night that Sergio Aguero came off at the weekend with chest pains and is having, or has had tests for arythmia or similar. Wish him all the best, cracking player.

Re: Saturday football
Benitez is a fraud these days, he is now in the 'old' managers bracket, hasn't moved on with the modern game and will be outwitted by the younger coaches. Won't be long before he picks up more millions in compo to add to his already huge pile.

Re: Saturday football
Report I read said Nuno was getting sacked today and that caretaker Ryan Mason would take over.
Possibly through to the end of the year.

I'd say you'd need a hole in your head to work with Levy so Mason is the perfect candidate

Sir Alf 10:24 Mon Nov 1
Re: Saturday football
The dream scenario at Spuds was Nuno getting to stay on and just doing enough every few games to keep his job like OGS does at MU. But looks like he has got the "tin tack" now :-( Worst case scenario would be Conte but got to have faith in Levy and ENIC not wanting to spend. Foncesca could be the next to take the poison chalice?

Manuel 5:54 Mon Nov 1
Re: Saturday football
Levy fucked up in the summer by stubbornly keeping Kane, now I doubt if City will pay the money they initially were prepared to spend on him.

Nuno will go, then they are back to square one. Sacking Poch is also now looking like a big mistake. Can completely understand why Spuds fans are fuming with Levy, and long may it last :-)

Re: Saturday football
Understand when Norwich won the Championship their two outstanding players were BUENDIA (who they sold to Villa for £37m) & SKIPP (who has returned to Spurs).
Not sure they bought anyone of note to replace them.
Feels just like their last visit .... bank the tv money and go round again.
There are enough average teams that a BIT of investment would have given them a chance.

Farke is a genius.

He easily gets very poor teams promoted.

But why? I mean, what's the point?

Nuno Espirit’s future being discussed by Tottenham’s board today. Will be surprised if he is still the manager tomorrow.

what a load of rubbish - Norwich good as down already. Both sides poor though and the less poor team are edging it

Re: Saturday football
Leeds have been poor, but Norwich are just rubbish.

They’ll probably score now I’ve said that.

Re: Saturday football
Shame that - I'd like a Naaarch win just to see Newcastle at the foot of the table.
